How to Withdraw from Forex Broker
Step 1: Complete KYC Verification
Before any withdrawal, all regulated brokers require identity verification. For Mozambique traders, you must upload a clear copy of your national ID (Bilhete de Identidade) or passport, plus a recent utility bill or bank statement as proof of address. Some brokers also request a selfie with your ID. Approval usually takes 24–48 hours. Without KYC, your withdrawal will be blocked.
Step 2: Choose Your Withdrawal Method
Select the method that suits you best. Bank Transfer via SWIFT is secure but slow (3–7 days) and incurs intermediary bank fees (often $15–$30). Skrill is faster (24 hours) and cheaper, but you must have a verified Skrill account linked to your Mozambique bank. USDT withdrawals are near-instant (1–2 hours) and avoid banks entirely, but require a crypto wallet and understanding of blockchain fees (TRC-20 is cheapest).
Step 3: Submit Withdrawal Request
Log into your broker’s portal, go to the withdrawal section, enter the amount in USD, select your method, and provide the required details (bank account number, SWIFT code, Skrill email, or USDT wallet address). Double-check all details to avoid errors. Most brokers process requests within 24 hours.
Step 4: Wait for Processing
Processing time depends on the method. Bank transfers take 3–7 business days. Skrill withdrawals are usually processed within 24 hours. USDT transfers are often completed within 1–2 hours. During weekends or public holidays, delays may occur. Always check your broker’s withdrawal policy for cut-off times.
Step 5: Receive Funds
Once processed, funds will arrive in your chosen account. For Bank Transfer, your local bank may take an additional 1–2 days to credit your account and convert USD to MZN at their rate. For Skrill, you can withdraw to your bank or use the Skrill card. For USDT, you can sell on a local P2P exchange for MZN or USD.
