What is a Raw Spread Account
What is a Raw Spread Account?
A raw spread account, also known as a 'zero spread' or 'ECN account,' provides traders with access to the interbank market's raw spreads without any markup from the broker. Instead of widening the spread, the broker charges a fixed commission per lot. For Poland traders, this model is transparent and cost-effective, especially when trading large volumes.
How Does It Work?
When you open a raw spread account, you see the actual market spreads from liquidity providers. For example, on EUR/USD, the spread might be 0.1 pips. You pay a commission of, say, $5 per standard lot. If you trade 1 lot, your total cost is $5, compared to a standard account where the spread might be 1.5 pips costing $15. This is ideal for Poland traders who trade frequently or in USD pairs.
Why It Matters for Poland Traders
Poland traders often face currency conversion costs when trading in USD. A raw spread account minimizes these costs by reducing the spread component. Additionally, with local payment methods like Bank Transfer and Skrill, funding is easy. The Polish financial authority (KNF) oversees brokers to ensure fair practices, so you can trust regulated raw spread accounts.
