How to Withdraw from Forex Broker
Step 1: Complete the KYC Process
Before you can withdraw any funds, every forex broker requires you to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. For Ecuadorian traders, this means uploading a clear copy of your national ID (cédula de identidad), proof of address (electricity bill or bank statement in your name), and sometimes a selfie. The broker will verify these documents within 24-48 hours. Without KYC, your withdrawal request will be rejected.
Step 2: Log In and Navigate to Withdrawal
Log in to your broker’s web platform or mobile app. Go to the ‘Finance’ or ‘Withdrawal’ section. You will see the available withdrawal methods. Most brokers allow you to withdraw via Bank Transfer (wire transfer), Skrill, or USDT (cryptocurrency). Choose the method that best suits your needs in Ecuador.
Step 3: Enter Withdrawal Details
Enter the amount you wish to withdraw in USD. Remember that your account currency is USD, so no conversion is needed. For Bank Transfer, you will need to provide your bank account number, bank name (e.g., Banco Pichincha, Banco del Pacífico), and SWIFT/BIC code. For Skrill, enter your Skrill email. For USDT, provide your wallet address (preferably TRC-20 network to save fees).
Step 4: Submit and Wait for Processing
After submitting, the broker will process your request. Bank transfers usually take 3-5 business days. Skrill is processed within 24 hours. USDT is the fastest – often within 1 hour. You will receive a confirmation email once the withdrawal is sent. If you face delays, contact broker support via live chat or email.
Step 5: Receive Funds and Verify
Once the funds arrive in your bank account, Skrill wallet, or USDT wallet, check the amount matches your request. For bank transfers, your local bank may charge a receiving fee (typically $10-$25). For USDT, check the transaction on the blockchain explorer. Always keep a record of the withdrawal for tax purposes.
