How to Withdraw from Forex Broker
Step 1: Verify Your Account First
Before you can withdraw, your broker must verify your identity. This is a mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) requirement. For Cameroon traders, you need to upload a clear copy of your national ID card or passport, a recent utility bill (electricity, water, or internet) as proof of address, and sometimes a bank statement showing your name and address. Approval usually takes 24-48 hours. Without verification, your withdrawal request will be rejected.
Step 2: Log In and Navigate to Withdrawal Section
Go to your broker's website or trading platform (MT4/MT5). Log in to your secure client area. Look for 'Withdraw', 'Funds', or 'Banking' section. It's usually in the top menu or under 'My Account'. If you can't find it, use the search bar or contact live chat.
Step 3: Choose Your Withdrawal Method
Select from Bank Transfer, Skrill, or USDT. For Bank Transfer, you'll need your bank account details (account number, bank name, SWIFT code). For Skrill, enter your registered Skrill email. For USDT, copy your wallet address from your exchange or wallet (ensure correct network: TRC20, ERC20, or BEP20). Double-check addresses to avoid losing funds.
Step 4: Enter Amount and Confirm
Enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Some brokers have minimum withdrawal limits (e.g., $50 for bank transfer, $10 for Skrill, $20 for USDT). Review any fees displayed. Confirm the request. You may receive an email or SMS verification code for security. Enter it to finalize.
Step 5: Wait for Processing
Processing times vary: Bank Transfer (2-5 business days), Skrill (instant to 24 hours), USDT (minutes to 1 hour). Track your withdrawal status in the 'Transaction History' section. If delayed beyond the stated time, contact support with your withdrawal reference number.
