How to Withdraw from Forex Broker
Step 1: Choose a Regulated Broker
Before you can withdraw, you must trade with a broker that is regulated by a reputable authority. For Albanian traders, the local financial authority does not directly license forex brokers, so you should choose brokers regulated by CySEC, FCA, or ASIC. These brokers follow strict rules that protect your funds and ensure smooth withdrawals. Avoid unregulated brokers that may block withdrawals or charge hidden fees.
Step 2: Complete KYC Verification
All legitimate brokers require you to verify your identity before processing withdrawals. This is called Know Your Customer (KYC). You will need to upload a clear copy of your Albanian national ID (Letërnjoftim), a recent utility bill or bank statement as proof of address, and sometimes a selfie holding your ID. Verification usually takes 24–48 hours. Without KYC, your withdrawal will be rejected.
Step 3: Log In and Go to the Withdrawal Section
Log in to your broker’s trading platform or client area. Find the ‘Withdrawal’ or ‘Funds’ section. Select your preferred withdrawal method: Bank Transfer, Skrill, or USDT. Enter the amount you want to withdraw. Make sure the amount does not exceed your available balance. Some brokers have minimum withdrawal limits, typically $10–$50.
Step 4: Confirm and Wait for Processing
After submitting your withdrawal request, the broker will process it. For Skrill and USDT, processing is usually instant or within 24 hours. Bank Transfer can take 2–5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the withdrawal is approved. If there is a delay, contact broker support.
Step 5: Check Your Payment Method
Once the broker sends the funds, check your Skrill account, USDT wallet, or Albanian bank account. For Bank Transfer, the funds will appear in your account in ALL (Albanian Lek) converted from USD at the bank’s exchange rate. Note that banks may charge additional fees for international transfers.
