How to Open a PAMM Account
What is a PAMM Account?
A PAMM (Percentage Allocation Money Management) account lets investors allocate capital to a professional trader (money manager). The manager trades on behalf of all investors, and profits or losses are distributed proportionally. For Eritrea traders, this is a way to participate in forex markets without needing deep trading knowledge.
Step 1: Choose a Reputable Broker
Select a broker that accepts clients from Eritrea, supports Bank Transfer, Skrill, and USDT deposits, and offers PAMM accounts. Ensure the broker is regulated by a reputable authority like the FCA or CySEC. Avoid unregulated brokers, as Eritrea's local financial authority does not oversee forex activities.
Step 2: Complete the Registration Process
Visit the broker's website and click on 'Open Account' or 'Register'. Fill in your personal details accurately, including your full name, email, phone number, and country of residence (Eritrea). Choose your account currency as USD to avoid conversion fees. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
Step 3: Pass KYC Verification
Upload the required documents: a clear copy of your passport or national ID, and a recent utility bill or bank statement as proof of residence. Some brokers may also ask for a selfie. Approval usually takes 1-3 business days. Ensure all documents are legible and in English.
Step 4: Fund Your PAMM Account
Log in to your trading account and navigate to the deposit section. Choose your preferred payment method: Bank Transfer (slow, 3-5 days), Skrill (instant, low fees), or USDT (fast, low cost). Enter the deposit amount and complete the transaction. USDT is recommended for speed and lower fees.
Step 5: Select a Money Manager
After funding, access the PAMM section and review available money managers. Check their track record, risk level, drawdown, and profit history. Allocate a portion of your capital to one or more managers. You can start with a small amount to test performance.
Step 6: Monitor and Withdraw Profits
Once your PAMM account is active, monitor performance through your broker's dashboard. You can withdraw profits or additional capital at any time, subject to the broker's terms. Use the same payment methods (Bank Transfer, Skrill, USDT) for withdrawals.
